Bomb Protein Powder Shake Recipes!

Updated: Jan 10, 2022

I just cleaned out my pantry and I have 6 different protein powder containers just sitting there, & I know I can't be the only one.

Making plain protein shakes with just water is nice every once in awhile but its boring and bland.

I personally love to try new recipes with protein powders. It keeps it from getting boring.

Before I get into these AMAZING recipes, I'm going to give a brief explanation on protein powders & the different types.

I get asked often "Are protein shakes good for you?"

Of course, an extra dose of protein is a great choice for a snack or meal replacement. Many athletes use protein shakes as a way to refuel after exercise.

The best protein shake recipes, including the 5 that are shown below, rely on whey protein powder for that extra nutrition.

Whey protein has many benefits, including all of the following:

  • Builds muscle and strength

  • Assists with weight loss

  • Works as a appetite suppressant

  • Boosts metabolism

  • Provides balance for the body systems with amino acids

  • Repairs muscles from exercise

Here are a couple recipes using protein powders that taste great!
